Multimedia Observation

The video has an obvious theme, as the title states, “Solitude.” For each scene, there is a person who moves his/her body, whether standing, leaning or lying down. They do not have that much emotion on their faces, but as a viewer, I could see their loneliness through their eyes. It seems like they are in a situation that they want someone to be there for them, but there is no one. They live in a place that is hard for others to enter. They are lonely because no one can understand them. With the continuation of the soft, sad and melancholic classical background music, these moving visual images give a feeling of being isolated from the world. At one point, it makes me feel scared because people in the video are struggling with the inner self, and their body movements indicate that they are going crazy with themselves. They are hopeless and depressed. Another thing that I find interesting is that the people in the video are very nicely dressed, or to some extent very fashionable. I am not sure if the video producer wants to express the working environment in the fashion world. I like the choice of background music, and it is visually interesting to me. I learned more about expressing "loneliness" through moving images without voices. In a nutshell, it is a depressing video to watch but I really appreciate it.
